  • Yes! Our dogs are meant to be family dogs and be safe to take out to public events and social events.

  • German Shepherd, Belgian Malinois, Dutch Shepherd, Doberman, Rottweiler, Cane Corso, Giant Schnauzer, Boxer, Dogo Argentino, American Staffordshire Terrier, and Bullmastiff.

  • Depending on the complexity of the training, the dogs usually require 1 to 2 years of training.

  • There are different levels of training that is done according to the client needs. Also the “off breeds” anything other than German Shepherd, Belgian Malinois, Dutch Shepherd, can taken longer to train and longer to acquire as they are more rare and have a different learning curve.

  • It is important that your personal protection dog is a well rounded and can safely travel with you on all of your life adventures. My Personal K9 is also dedicated to making sure that the dogs are safe for woman to handle and safe to be around the family children.

  • We have developed relationships with many breeders in Europe over the past 20 years. There are several great national and internationally kennels that we have really great relationships that we have repeat business with and have a really great history with.

  • Most of the dogs that come from our programs are either dog neutral or dog social. We do not allow any dogs that have aggression towards others in our program.

  • While many people do currently own great dogs, it takes a very special dog to be able to do this type of work safely. We supply all the dogs for this training program.

  • The transition from training to coming to your home is a fun and exciting transition. We help unlimitedly for 6 months via text and phone calls to make sure that the training is sticking and we are supporting you with with your new dog.

  • We are a bit different from other companies in that we don’t keep a large kennel full of dogs. We hand select each dog for each client. Once we have an initial phone conversation and we establish exactly what you are looking for, we start our journey in matching you with the perfect dog.
